– The new Mood Groove Album, “Stones, Bones & Broken Shells” has
arrived! 18 months and many life changes have come and gone, and
finally a new product in hand! Please, help take it off our hands
at a fixed or variable donation to support this non-profit band.
We love our donating/listening crowd as much if not more than you
love us. Be strong and listen loud!
Mar 13, 2006 – New music! Currently working on a
poem/song “Richard Cory” by Edwin Arlington Robinson, and arranged
by our Brother Garbo in Rochester, Minnesota of Two Roads Café.
The Mood Groove dudes are working two different angles of the same
song because 1 angle is never enough & if we worked 3 angles, we
couldn’t talk about it according to Infirmity Sequence rules.
Also, as might well have been expected, we are now recording
concrete basic tracks to a new WNGC reunion album (if we can get
Johnny to come back), called “….” – well, we’ll let that cat outta
the bag as soon as we can find a bag and a cat to put it in.
In the meantime, Nublin’s Pub Studio continues to be busy
constantly under the recording, engineering, producing and overall
direction and expertise of JK Northrup – http://www.jknorthrup.com
JK has recorded a dozen bands, and worked on another dozen mixing
and mastering projects since continuing his own style of self
employment in Nublin’s Pub Studio. He is working with and
assisting those who are attempting to reach portions of the masses
that are half full of molasses, mules kickin’ asses, and the
grasses of leaves on the plains of contented venting in varying
forms of music
June 24, 2005 - The Mood Groove dudes continue to plot
their own course on a new album due to be completed by the end of
the summer. Burl E. Haggard has been in Nublin's Pub since mid
February and has logged nearly 400 hours with Z-Bob, Brandon, and
Ed in Nublin's studio in that amount of time. The group is anxious
to release the new album, which has some unique features added to
it this time around.

August 31, 2004 - It's been a good month in regards
to recording for the Mood Groove this month. Danzoidian Fervor and
I were able to figure out a drum mic hiccup, create several new
tunes and begin recording again after a several month hiatus from
the studio. We're excited once again to be creating and recording.
Stay tuned...

July 22, 2004 - Nublin's Studio floor is currently
stripped naked and awaiting a resurfacing with a new hunk of
carpet donated by our sober buddy, Shep. Not a whole lot has been
going on in the studio the past several months, but once the
carpet has been laid, and a few minor upgrades have been made, B.L.
Z-Bob & I have vowed to get back to work on our next Mood Groove
adventure. We'll keep you posted - stay in touch.

March 19, 2004 – Burl E. Haggard drops in on a
weekend visit to Nublin’s Pub for a few drinks, some Nishiki
sushi, and a bit of recording assistance for the Mood Groove
dudes, dialing drum and bass sounds in better than they’ve been
heard before. The Mood Groove dudes continue to work on new Mood
Groove II songs, recording on occasion with keyboardist Brandon
Owens. (See new pictures of Burl’s visit in the “Picture” section)
Nublin’s Pub patrons are joining worldwide fans who are anxiously
awaiting the release of the new Shortino/Northrup CD, “Afterlife”
which is due to be released sometime in May or June. The Pub is
ready for some new music in the jukebox. Find out more about the
release date and much, much more at

March 2, 2004 – Due to his professional expertise,
his creative interests, and his eagerness to develop and produce
outstanding work, regardless of the unspoken in-law clause, Mike
Wilhite has built, embellished, and jump started the Mood Groove
website to life. Enjoy it and let us know what you think about it
by signing our Guestbook. Grazie sempre, Mike! We are ever in your
debt.
Five new basic tracks have been laid down on tape for the next
Mood Groove album – to be released sometime in the future
(hopefully, sooner than tuna half years this time). Stay tuned for
more to come…
January 27, 2004 – Fresh blood – the Mood Groove
welcomes Brandon Owens into the fold. Brandon brings fresh new
song writing, keyboard playing, and sequencing skills to the Mood
Groove platter. He also injects a smart youthful intensity that
has escaped other Mood Groove players because of…..well, age.
November 1, 2003 – After tuna half years of
recording in an upgraded-more mic-8-track digital-6 pack Nublin’s
Pub, and after 3 months of artwork layout, a 2K payout & a
thousand pieces of “The Road Less Paved” in hand, the first
illegitimate Mood Groove labor of love is released into the
generally specific public.
December 10, 2003 – Danzoidian Fervor & Ed Balldinger step back
into Nublin’s Pub Recording Studio once again to embark on yet
another random Mood Groove dream.
